The journey that was started by Jim Haney has evolved over the decades, seamlessly merging traditional values with contemporary techniques under the proficient ownership of Rudy Ramkissoon since 1987.

Rudy, a fervent car enthusiast, translated his hobby of car racing and passion for peak vehicle performance into a thriving career. With over 1000 hours of mechanic training by his high school graduation in 1983 and an associate’s degree from Wyoming Technical Institute in automotive technology in 1985, his trajectory was clear and his commitment, unwavering.

Away from the workshop, Rudy, a husband of 29 years and father to two vibrant daughters, finds joy in family vacations, fine dining, and active engagement in community and faith-based initiatives. With a family that considers food and drinks a communal bond and volunteering and mission trips a shared passion, the Ramkissoon household is a vibrant blend of service, fellowship, and adventure.

Our mission has always been clear: to set industry standards for rebuilding, repairing, and servicing vehicles, always upholding the pillars of empathy, trust, and ethics in customer service. Rudy’s pathway from a porter at National Transmission in 1982, through varied phases of skill acquisition, business partnerships, managerial roles, to ultimately assuming full ownership of National Auto Care in 2015, is a testament to his dedication to the field.

As an active member and President of ASA from 2000-2017, and a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business Program (2014), his leadership is defined by continual learning, adapting, and implementing. His participation in the ShopFix Academy training in 2023 echoes our business’s ethos: to perpetually evolve, ensuring our practices are contemporary, and our services, top-tier.
